I remember hearing "Schism" on the radio around the time it came out, maybe 2001, but definitely around 2003. I liked it, because I was an angsty almost-teen who loved the darker sounds and drop-tunings of bands like Korn, Marilyn Manson, Cold, and Slipknot. Then I heard more of their songs -- "Sober" (which I for sure heard on the radio back in the day), "Prison Sex" and "Stinkfist." And then "Vicarious" a little while later (I think I heard that one on Guitar Hero/Rock Band? idr). I liked them, but I never did a deep dive into their discography or anything.

I fell into stanning hell around early 2023. I watched some clip compilations and ended up loving Maynard, then saw some fancams and interviews and went 👀 at the prospect of Danny/Maynard 😂 I'm nothing if not predictable.

I've seen them live twice :D
